Binova: Italian Kitchen Craftsmanship Since 1969

Discover Binova, the Italian kitchen manufacturer behind Binova Studio Short Hills. Learn about their history, craftsmanship standards, and design philosophy.

Five Decades of One Idea

Binova has been making kitchens in Abruzzo, Italy since 1968 — more than fifty years spent refining a single conviction: that the kitchen is architecture, not appliance storage. What began as family craftsmanship has grown into precision manufacturing, but the sequence never changed — design first, materials honestly expressed, and construction that tolerates being examined closely.

That philosophy shows in the details Binova is known for: handleless systems engineered rather than adapted, sequence-matched wood veneers that carry one tree across a wall of doors, lacquer applied in multiple cured coats, and porcelain gres surfaces that bring stone's permanence to cabinet fronts. Collections evolve slowly and deliberately; nothing is fashion-cycled.

Binova Studio Short Hills brings that half-century to New Jersey as the state's only authorized dealer — with seven collections in full-scale installation, designers trained by the factory, and every kitchen imported directly from Abruzzo and installed by our own team.

Binova Studio Short Hills is New Jersey's only dedicated Italian design studio, located at 565 Millburn Avenue in Short Hills. Our showroom features direct-import collections from Italy's top kitchen, bath, and living room manufacturers — offering discerning New Jersey homeowners access to designs and quality unavailable anywhere else in the state.

Everything we do is guided by one principle: Italian design is not just an aesthetic — it is a standard of quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that elevates daily life. Our certified designers bring this standard to every project, working closely with each client from first concept through final installation.
